Brand photographer in Vienna – your company, the way it really works
Employer branding, brand imagery, commercial photography – three names for the same job: images that show who works for you, where and how. Real photos of your office, your processes and your people. Since 2013 I have photographed companies in Vienna and Lower Austria from the inside – IT companies, corporates, museums and galleries, breweries – delivering what your website, LinkedIn and the press office need for the next six months, often from a single session.
One visual style for every channel
Portraits from the portrait photographer, site images from the architectural photographer, team photos at the next summer party: that makes three visual languages, three invoices and images that never match. From one photographer you get one consistent style: website, careers page, LinkedIn and press kit look like they come from one company. Plus one briefing instead of three, one contact and images that still match your library at the next shoot. One session on a single day is usually enough: with the experience from more than 900 documented shoots I switch from the production hall to the board portrait in the same morning.
What you get
People at work
No staged handshakes. Your team in the places where it actually works – workshop, lab, open-plan office, construction site – photographed so that candidates can see where they would work.
Teams & portraits
Leadership, departments, new colleagues: consistent portraits for website and LinkedIn, in one day, without a studio appointment. More under business portraits.
Site & spaces
Reception, production, meeting rooms, the view from the 12th floor – the images missing from the careers page and the site presentation.
Vertical for social media
A third of the images is deliberately shot in portrait format, so LinkedIn, Instagram and job ads don't have to make do with cropped landscapes.
Trade fairs & brand presence
Your booth, your products, your conversations with customers: images that show how visitors experience your brand – for the follow-up report, the website and planning the next appearance.
Studio photography: where the work gets made
A studio says more about a brand than any mood board: the tools, the materials, the order and the disorder, the people at work. For designers, artists, makers and studios I photograph exactly that place – for the website, the press and social media. For example during Foto Arsenal Wien's studio visit with Elfie Semotan in December 2024: prints laid out on long tables, rolls of backdrop paper, the desk beneath the lamps.

Trade fair photography
A trade fair booth costs a lot and stands for three days. The images of it you keep using: for the follow-up report, the website, LinkedIn and planning the next appearance. I photograph the booth empty and in use, the products in detail and the conversations with customers – so that you can see how visitors experience your brand. Most recently at Architect@Work Vienna 2024 and 2026, before that at ART & ANTIQUE in the Hofburg, BUCH WIEN and Experts Live Europe in Berlin, among others.
Where the images end up
One shoot, seven channels – the details are in the guide to a multi-platform visual strategy. The short version:
- Careers page & job ads
- Real workplaces instead of stock photos: candidates will spot the difference immediately.
- Website & about us
- Team, site, way of working – timeless enough that the images still hold true in two years.
- LinkedIn & social media
- A stock of images you can use for a whole year.
- Press, print & annual report
- High resolution, full usage rights – including for agencies and media that request images.
How it works
1
Briefing
One conversation: what are the images for, which departments, which sites, who absolutely has to be in them? Which images already exist? That becomes a shot list that structures the shoot.
2
The shoot
Usually one session, half a day or a full day on site. I work with available light and a mobile flash kit without bringing your operation to a halt.
3
Selection & editing
Every usable image, consistently edited, portraits with extended retouching. Delivery within 3 working days through the password-protected gallery, optimised for web, print and social media.
4
Top up instead of starting over
New colleagues, a new site: once you've booked, you get a photographer who already knows the visual language – the new images match the existing ones.
What does it cost?
That depends on how many departments, sites and people come together in one day – and whether portraits with extended retouching are part of it. So there is no figure here, but a quote after a short conversation: you tell me what the images are for, I tell you within 24 hours what it costs. Always included: the briefing, travel within Vienna, editing of every usable image and full commercial usage rights – unlimited in time and territory, including for agencies working on your behalf.
What "full usage rights" means in practice – and why it matters more for brand images meant for years of use than for any event – is in the guide to copyright and usage rights.
