I Went to VIECC 2025 and All I Got Were Amazing Photos (and Sore Feet)
Each year when VIECC opens its doors, I feel that familiar mix of excitement and curiosity rise again. The convention has a special atmosphere that blends creativity, fandom culture and a sense of community that is hard to find elsewhere.

My Role at the PAN Book Stage
This year - as all previous years - I am assisting the PAN book stage with photography during the readings as well as interviews. Each reading has its own mood and being able to freeze those moments for the PAN authors is something I quite enjoy. It is a quiet but powerful space right in the middle of the busy convention.
The Magic of the VIECC
Beyond the stage, the 10th VIECC is as vibrant as ever. Cosplayers, creators, artists and exhibitors fill the halls with color and ideas. People connect easily, share their passions. People love being photographed (of course I always ask before taking a photo), love sharing their stories, and love celebrating each other’s work. The convention is a place where inspiration sits around every corner and you never know what small moment might turn into your favorite shot of the weekend.
